About
he NOA art collection is a privately held, strategically curated selection of contemporary artworks dedicated to supporting artists and shaping cultural dialogue. Founded by Florian Paul Koenig, the collection focuses on artists who have mastered their medium or pioneered new techniques—those whose work stands at the intersection of material excellence and conceptual relevance.
Built alongside NOA contemporary, the collection serves as an extension of our broader mission: to empower artists, amplify their visibility, and cultivate a legacy that extends beyond market cycles. Each acquisition is purposeful—supporting artists at key points in their careers, and situating their work in meaningful institutional and public contexts.
Select works are made accessible through a permanent display at OKL Lucerne, long-term institutional loans, and publishing projects that deepen critical engagement. In all its forms, the NOA art collection is guided by the belief that collecting is not just about owning, but about contributing—to artists, to audiences, and to the ongoing evolution of contemporary culture.
Our Vision
We envision the NOA art collection as a dynamic cultural force that redefines the role of private collecting in the 21st century. More than a repository of significant works, the collection is a living ecosystem—designed to support artists, cultivate new audiences, and foster meaningful cultural exchange.
We aim to collect with care and intention, prioritizing artists who demonstrate mastery of their medium or introduce transformative techniques. By aligning our acquisitions with long-term institutional relevance and public visibility, we strive to create a collection that is both historically grounded and forward-looking.
Our Mission
The NOA art collection acquires works by artists who master their medium or innovate new techniques, with the aim of supporting them at defining moments in their careers. As an integral arm of NOA contemporary, the collection strengthens our cultural footprint by fostering institutional dialogue, publishing critical materials, and creating semi-public platforms for engagement. We collect not for possession, but for presence—ensuring that great art is seen, supported, and situated within the evolving narrative of contemporary culture.

Engagement
FPK Foundation
The foundation's mission is to provide support for art students seeking independent financing for their studies. Florian, having personally experienced the challenges of funding his education, recognizes the empowering impact of such assistance. The foundation is also open to support international art students, who study in Switzerland, and provides an annual contribution to their budget.
